The "AeroItalia Rebranding" project involved a comprehensive overhaul of the Italian airline's visual identity, culminating in the creation of a unique logo that blended cultural and historical elements. The new logo, inspired by the Roman god Jupiter and the Italian sun, features a butterfly with flames as wings. The flames symbolize Jupiter's torch and the vibrant energy of the Italian sun. Hidden within each wing are subtle olive leaves, symbolizing peace and heritage, while the body of the butterfly is formed by an olive branch, representing strength and growth. This sophisticated design was applied across various elements, including a striking plane wrap, a stylish tote bag, a polo shirt, and a prominent wall sign. Each piece showcased the new branding, creating a cohesive and modern identity for AeroItalia that honors its Italian roots and appeals to a global audience. This project underscored the importance of integrating symbolic elements into a unified design, significantly enhancing AeroItalia's visual appeal and brand recognition.
